Tagging Instructions

General Instructions

	Because of limited rack space, please do not bring clothing items on hangers if they are priced less than $3.00.  Items on hangers priced less than $3.00 will not be displayed.
	No BAGGED clothing items will be accepted.
	All other items and toys may be priced at $1.00 and up.
	Please no vintage clothing or lingerie items such as bras and underwear.
	No car seats will be accepted.
	Please do not attempt to hang several items on one hanger unless they are a matched set.
	Please make sure your shoes are in good condition. Shoes that are worn out will not be accepted.
	SHOES:  Keep shoes together in Ziploc bags. If the shoes are too large for a bag, secure the shoes together with a safety pin or ribbon. For added security, write your number on a piece of masking tape and place it on the soles of the shoes.
	Only bring items in great condition and freshly laundered. Please check your clothing for stains, tears, missing buttons, odors such as smoke, etc. before you come. Clothes with stains or that are out of date do not sell at any price. Items in poor condition will not be displayed for sale. And, remember, if YOU wouldn't buy it…don't bring it!
	All buttons, zippers, snaps, etc. should be properly closed and in working order.

Tagging Instructions (Click here for BARCODING Information)

	Use 3x5 INDEX CARDS (No larger, no smaller! And no cards made out of paper.)
	Use 1 inch or larger SAFETY PINS to pin on tags (NO STRAIGHT PINS, CLOTHES PINS, ETC.)
	Price your items in dollar increments. No cents, please. ($1.00, $2.00, etc.)
	Use wire hangers.  And remove all paper from the hangers. -- Most dry cleaners will give you wire hangers. Exception: Clothes from size newborn-24 months may be on plastic hangers.
	Place card on the RIGHT shoulder (as you look at the item) with the wire hanger pointing to the LEFT.
	Do NOT size your clothes using Small, Medium, Large!! Size only in numbers!!  Guess the size if you are unsure. Exception: Maternity items may be sized using Small, Medium, Large, X-Large.
	NO DISCOUNT:  If you do not want your item reduced to 1/2 price on Saturday, write "ND" in red in the bottom right corner of the index card.
	Write B, G, JR or W under the size.  This helps identify your item as Boy, Girl, Junior or Women. (Writing an "L" for Ladies was being confused as "L" for large.)
	Matched sets should be pinned together on one hanger with the pants or skirt hanging behind the top using only 2 safety pins.
	ITEMS:  Securely tape tags on furniture, toys, equipment and larger items. Clear packaging tape works really well. If a toy or game has small pieces, put them in a Ziploc bag.  Safety pin the card to the bag.  Do not tape it to the bag.
	All games, toys, and equipment requiring batteries must have them so that a buyer knows the item works.
	Do not make any changes or corrections on your tags. Please complete a new tag. This is for your protection.
